Donating office furniture to charitable organizations

Atlantic Business Interiors donates office furniture to many local charitable organizations. ABI regularly receives requests from schools and charitable organizations in Atlantic Canada that require donated office furniture for their workspaces. If furniture is deemed to be unusable, ABI has a recycling program for proper disposal. Below are some recent examples of how donations of end-of-use office furniture through our ECO-Services program have helped furnish local charitable organizations:

Dress for Success
When Dress for Success, a non-profit organization that provides interview suits, confidence boosts, and career development to low-income women, were looking to upgrade their boardroom furniture, they contacted Atlantic Business Interiors. Upon receiving the inquiry, ABI was able to provide a suitable 10 foot boardroom table and chairs from donations received by Jennings Capital Inc. The furniture is now being used regularly for Board meetings.

Muscular Dystrophy Canada
Muscular Dystrophy Canada is an association that raises funds to improve the quality of life for people with neuromuscular disorders. When the association was upgrading their facility in Halifax, NS, they contacted Atlantic Business Interiors for our help in providing them with three reception workstations for their office. Again, we had items in stock that were generously donated as end-of-use items, which we were able to provide to Muscular Dystrophy Canada at no cost.
